I’m Jesse, a portrait, fine art, and commercial photographer based in Tucson. I moved to the Southwest to explore new opportunities in my life. I’m originally from the Midwest and always dreamed of living somewhere with more scenery. I’d say that my experience learning and working in user experience design had a huge impact on how I see the world behind the lens. I discovered that taking pictures quickly became one of my favorite hobbies, and I loved capturing the beauty I found on my hikes. Soon, I was photographing everything I could — from nearby buildings to sweeping valleys.

I got into photography because I wanted to pursue my true dream job and see the world. More importantly, I wanted to make a difference in the lives of the people I work with and give them something they truly love. I have the mindset that if the work isn’t perfect, then it shouldn’t be done at all. As photographers, we help create memories that should never be forgotten.
